Learning to cook from my Italian grandmother and mother, I've had a passion for cuisine and the experience around a good meal since I was a child. Being raised in Sonoma County has given me so much inspiration for using seasonal, local, and sustainable produce and products in my cooking.

Growing up, we'd spend a few weeks each summer visiting my dad's side of the family in Algeria and France. Cuisines from both of those countries play a big role in the flavor profiles I gravitate towards and the techniques I use.

Having played basketball in college, I know how important nutritious and balanced (but still filling and delicious) meals are to meeting fitness and health goals.

After shucking my 1000th oyster, I stopped counting. Working with fresh Californian seafood is something I love and pride myself in.
